Agents meeting 2004
Agents from over 20 different countries attended and were able to learn about new products that would be launched at the SIMAC exhibition in Bologna, Italy the following week.
These new products included:
- ShoemasterQS Version 4 - the latest annual update of all software products in this range
- Leather Tattoo - a new system for printing on leather
- Ma-Mecc Heels - a new system to design and manufacture heels
- PDM - a new integrated solution for Product Data Management
- Sourcing - a new electronic catalogue for shoe components
- Shoes Online - the latest Digital Shoe Collection for Spring/Summer 2005
- ShoemasterQS Footscan - a new low cost portable foot scanner
- EXPERTOR - a new offline nesting system to create cutting jobs for Nestor leather cutting tables
The event was held at the Integrated Pilot Plant in Vigevano which is operated by the research organisation CNR-ITIA. This working factory forms part of the EUROShoE project and is used to showcase many new technologies for the shoe industry including flexible production lines, logistics planning and robotic production machines.
