BAPO exhibition report
The 4th - 6th March 2005 saw the staging of the 11th annual BAPO exhibition and conference held this year at the Norbreck Hotel in Blackpool, UK.
As in recent years, CSM3D International Limited attended the event giving demonstrations of both the 3D foot scanner and Shoemaster Orthopedie software.
The 3D foot scanner allows accurate foot shapes to be captured in only a few seconds. This data can then be used in Shoemaster Orthopedie to generate both custom and orthopaedic lasts and subsequent pattern data.
During the coming year we expect to begin to see this type of technology being used within this industry with several manufacturers already planning to take advantage of this new technology.
